Workshop Volunteers
The Center for Future Health Professionals welcomes opportunities to partner with community organizations who serve the disadvantaged youth. Our recent partnership with the Orangewood Foundation provides a great example. On February 28, 2008, several healthcare professionals from different fields and students volunteered to expose underserved youth to different career options through small group discussions. After completion of the workshop, the teenagers said they were more inspired to go college and become a healthcare professional.
